Woke up around when David got back from the spa then stayed awake for ages, stressing about All The Things.
Still woke up at 7:11 though. Got ready and went down for Sea Day Brunch. I had eggs benedict with ham which was nice enough.
Picked up the daily puzzles then did the daily trivia, but did pretty badly at it (6/20, although we probably did know a couple more).
At 10:00 we went and saw Naked Astronomy With Bob which was interesting (altho not as fancy as Queen Mary 2 planetarium shows :) )
Straight after that we went to the Fun Ashore Fun Aboard talk on the shore excursions. Didn't win any though.
Next up we went hunting for the Valentine's Day Ducks.. which were really just A5 posters in all the bars on decks 2 and 3. Annoyingly we couldn't find two of them. Will have to hunt again in the morning for them.

These were the "ducks" we had to find
Had some lunch in Mermaid's, but the pork I had was a little dry.
After lunch we went to Photography With Michael, which had useful tips, if you like taking photos of people. Then we went up on deck 3 for a bit of a photoshoot. We were up there for like an hour and a half and I ended up exhausted from all the people interaction.

View up to our room from the promenade deck - you can't really see in which is good
Came back to the room and I washed a few more things, then it was time for early dinner. The plan was to be done by sunset then go watch the show. Except they printed the sunset date an hour out. Doh. So we had an early dinner anyway (I had caesar salad for entree, a veal parmy for mains, and a cheesecake for dessert), but got to see the sunset out the back window of the dining room we were sitting. So not a complete loss.

Showtime at dinner
After dinner we went to the Welcome Aboard show which they would have done last night, except it got trumped by the Super Bowl.

Then came back to the room to do photos and blogging and hair washing and stuffs.
This evening before dinner I noticed the GPS was flashing red like it was going flat. So thought maybe the little battery was going flat. So hooked the GPS up to the big shiny fat new battery I got that has All The Milliamp Hours. But shortly afterwards it didn't look like it was doing anything. Thinking maybe it needed turning "on" I pressed the button on it and it looked like it was charging again. But when I got back from the show it was off again. #grunt. The little battery takes *hours* to charge, much longer than the GPS will last. Pissed that the big battery doesn't work properly with such a low current device (it works ok with the phone). Was able to plug the GPS into the USB charger with all the cables stretching as far as they'd go so the GPS would be as close to the window as possible, while the little battery charged.
The seas were a lot calmer today. Overnight the motion was noticeable, although still relatively gentle.
