Woke up fairly early. Had a shower and watched the arrival.

Straight after we arrived we hopped off the ship to get some photos of the "beached whale" next to the whale tail of the ship (I got a better one later in the morning).

Back on board for breakfast in the restaurant. But because we'd already been off ship which took up a chunk of time I was stressed about going to the restaurant - because the place is so damned slow. Apparently they're understaffed post covid so everything takes longer. So had to rush through breakfast to be off the ship again in time for our tour.
Except when we got there they said the tour would have to be delayed by two hours due to "technical difficulties". Oof.
So we wandered around the shops and the beach area for a bit.

And then back on board for an early light lunch.
And then take two on the tour. We did the Rainbow Calypso Tram tour which was a very slow drive all the way across the island.

We had a twenty three minute stop in "downtown" which was really just half a dozen tourist shops.

Went back to the ship for second lunch, swapped all our gear around, and went off to have a snorkel (note to self: DC's camera was on Canberra time not Grand Turk time. Also note the iPhone photos are an hour out because it changed to local time instead of ship time).

Snorkelling was pretty cool. There's no coral, but there's a cannon and an anchor and some chains and plenty of interesting fish, as well as the Drop Off where they'd dredged out a channel for the ships to get close to the island. Really enjoyed that.

Then it was to Raphael Lounge to play Cards Against Humanity with Hayley and a big group. We didn't do very well, but the cards we had never really went well with the questions.
And I think I strained some back muscles yesterday on the waterslides. A couple of times during the day they felt a little sore.
Had a shower then we met up with Stefan and Sam for dinner. I had tortellini which was nice enough, veal which was also quite nice, and black forest cheese cake.
Then to bed.
Today's Towel Animal: not really sure, the face looks a bit like a walrus but it has long arms and legs. Shrug.
