Urgh. Woke up around 2:30 til like 05:00. Stoopid jetlag. Alarm woke me up a bit after 7. The blinds here are sure effective - total blockout which is nice.
Got ready and went down to breakfast with Hayley at 8:00. They don't have any hot savoury food. In fact the only savoury food was like boiled eggs and bread or bagels. I made another cream cheese sandwich but the bread was super stale. Shoulda toasted it I guess. Also had some fake yoghurt and David made me a waffle, that I struggled to get through.
Finished the waffle in the room while I finished blogging yesterday.
9:30 we headed off. Even though it was well before 10:00 they were already letting people into the park. We headed straight up to Iron Gwazi and didn't have to wait to long for the back row (actually I don't think we waited at all). Decided to go again, this time in the front row, which did take longer (maybe twenty minutes). Hayley nicely minded our bags (we brought our cameras into the park today to document the animals in the sun).
Then headed back to Cheetah Hunt. Had a go with Hayley in the front row. Waited a round with the bags, then did it with David in the back row.
Then we wandered through the Edge of Africa walk to see some of the animals.

Heard the Serengeti Express coming so went and got on that. But it was the middle of the day and a lot of the animals we saw yesterday were hiding out under trees so that wasn't so great.

Then went and found some lunch in the Moroccan Palace. David got some pasta and meatballs for his free lunch, and Hayley and I shared a pepperoni pizza.

There was no wait on Iron Gwazi when we walked past it, so went on that again.

Next was Sheikra. No wait, and got on front row with David. In fact when we got off there were still no people so we got straight back on it without even exiting .. so cool!

Next up was Tigris. I went on the middle with Hayley and minded the bags for a round, and then front row with David. Was able to leave my glasses with the bags so didn't have to hold onto them.

Iron Gwazi said it was a twenty minute wait so we skipped that.
Finished up at Cheetah Hunt. The time said like 30 minutes, but they lied there was really no queue (we used our quick passes but they didn't save much). I did a round in the back with Hayley. Then did a bag mind, then again in the middle with Hayley. This time the queue was in fact building up quite a bit, but still got on quickly with the quick passes.
By this time it was 17:45. What I didn't realise was the park was open til 20:00 tonight. So then it was a dilema of stay and make the most of our fast passes but have to take turns minding the bags, or just call it quits. In the end exhaustion won out and we called it. (it didn't help that today was a lot more humid)
Hayley got us a Lyft so we could go up to the Walgreens so she could pick up a prescription, and I got some sunscreen and some milk.
Back to the motel to freshen up, then headed out to dinner. We went across the road to Olive Garden. I had a chicken and broccoli dish which was nice enough and there was a massive salad, that ended up being two massive salads (but at least we could take home the leftovers (which I plan to have with KFC tonight :) ).
Back at the hotel we had some eggnog while I downloaded the GPS and photos, but way too late to blog.
