David!!
Had a quick breakfast (which for me was like half a sausage) while waiting for the clear to go ashore announcement.
As soon as they announced we could go ashore we raced off, the aim being to photograph the pool before it got infested with people. And also the Amber Cove sign in front of the ship.

That accomplished we attempted to get out to the point north of Amber Cove where there's a rotunda, but it's in the middle of another resort and security wouldn't let us in. Doh.

But we did end up on a beach facing the ship, that had weak access to the resort wifi. So we sat there in the shade for like an hour catching up on interwebs. There may have also been a pina colada. Which I was a lot happier to pay the locals for than the port resort.

By this time it was nearly midday, and we'd just been planning a quick photoshoot in the early morning, so I didn't even have any sunscreen on and I was hungry. So we went back to the ship for lunch.

Then David and I took a bunch of photos round the ship.
Lathered up in sunscreen then off we went to the pool. It was kinda boring really because I was sober and didn't really have anyone to talk to for all of it (did chat to Voncile and Robin, and Hayley for a bit). Didn't feel game to do the waterslides.

Came back to the ship then watched the sailaway.

David did the waterslides for a bit while I grabbed something to eat (dinner was still a couple of hours away). Then I came back to the room and washed my hair and went into battle getting photos off my phone. I think it was missing different ones this time so tried recopying everything but it still keeps getting hung up on certain files and aborting. So took ages and there's still probably hundreds missing.
At 19:30 we watched the 80's Pop to the Max show which was a bit of fun.

Then to dinner. I had Queso Fundido for entrée which was amazing, Pork Lomito for mains which I wasn't really a fan of (pork was a little dry and I'm not a huge fan of beans anyway), and Crema Catalana for dessert which was very nice.
After dinner we dropped by Alchemy Bar to see Ocean Bri Zee and she played us all the Australian songs she knew (Dumb Things, Down Under and Khe San). I don't actually know all the words to Khe San, which is clearly un-Australian, and I should be sent to lamb purgatory ;)

Finally we went up to the 80s party on the pool deck, but it was a bit loud. And Americans are backwards. They'll spend all day out in the sun getting fried to a crisp, but then not use the pools at night. So we had the pool to ourselves.
Then to bed.
