Woke up a bit after three and stayed awake for ages.
Got up when the alarm went off, but it took *ages* to get into dock. The wind was fierce. We edged our way into the dock, and it took the full force of the thrusters to not slam against the dock.

Went and got ready, then had breakfast in the restaurant, with Bob and Debi again which was pretty funny. I had eggs benedict, but this time I got them to put bacon on instead of ham, which made it a lot nicer.
After breakfast I downloaded the GPS and all my photos, and backed them all up.
Then we headed off the ship. We just went into Basseterre and walked around town a bit, and went into the Catholic cathedral, which I didn't think we went into last time, but then I mixed up the Anglican one for I think Barbados so we didn't trek out to that one. Oh well. Walked down to the waterfront to try and get some photos of the ship.

Went back to the ship to swap out a few things and grab a very quick light lunch.
Then it was time to meet the tour. We did "St Kitts by Rail and Scenic Drive". We managed to get seats upstairs but more and more buses of people came and it got pretty crowded. There were "free" drinks included and we managed to have a few each but the lady was overworked. I really don't know why they don't just make up batches in bulk and just mix it with ice at the last minute. Save them an awful lot of effort.

Anyway the train trip itself was lovely. Until it broke down haha. The conductor told David it was a problem with a fuel line, although David suspected a throttle cable. We ended up being stuck for about forty minutes. And I won't even mention the damned couple sitting next to me on the train coughing and sniffling away.

So we got back the ship just before 16:30 which was all aboard time. But as it turns out, there were people on the "St Kitts by Rail and Sea" tour who got on the train when we got off it. We really didn't think they'd be from our ship, because there was no way they'd get back in time. Well it turns out they were from our ship, and they ended up having to get bussed back to Basseterre because the train was taking too long, and they got back at like 17:15. Whoops.

We were running late so they drove us onto the pier. This dude wouldn't get out the way though!
So then we to watch the sailaway. Except the bow thrusters weren't strong enough against the wind, and we ended up pushed back up against the dock again. Whoops. So they decided to wait half an hour for the winds to settle down before having another go at it.

I'd had enough. I just wanted to have a quick dinner and an early night, not have to be forced to wait around for a couple of hours in the restaurant while they thought about getting around to bringing food out. So had dinner by myself in the buffet. Although it was just on 18:00 and the line was pretty long. But I did get a quiet spot with not many people around me so that was nice. Especially since half the ship is coughing now. And guess how many people use the little hand sanitiser station that is literally right next to where you pick up plates? Yeah, you'd be right. I have not seen one single other person use it. HAVE PEOPLE LEARNED NOTHING FROM COVID???? I f@#$ing HATE people, especially retarded Americans.
