For once David actually woke up before me. Offshore arrival so not super interesting.

Island tender approaching
Had breakfast in the buffet.
Because David is platinum we can get a tender pretty much any time we want. They suggested 8:00-9:00, so we were down at ~8:15 and straight off the ship. It only took took a few minutes really to get to shore. Princess Cays has a small flotilla of tender vessels that are a lot bigger and more comfortable than the ship's tenders. Did you know that most cruise ship lifeboats don't have toilets (or at least even a long drop) on board? Can you imagine the mess if a hundred people were stuck on them for a few hours? Wonder what the people on the Titanic life boats did. These are the things I think about.
Moving on.
We wandered around taking photos of stuff before it got infested with people.

At 10:00 it was the beach photoshoot, but the beach isn't a great design and the spot they picked was pretty small, so I took some photos but not too many. And it was very hot and sunny and I just wanted to hide from the sun.

In other news, the island has free wifi! So that was pretty awesome.
After the photoshoot I took a tender back to the ship. Had some lunch and swapped out camera gear for snorkelling gear. Then back to the island.

Had a bit of a snorkel in a couple of places but it wasn't super exciting. There's no coral and not many fish.

Downloaded photos and GPS. Too much sun to see the sailaway. But did go up at sunset.

Then we met up with Linda and Stanley (I think?) for drinks. We had a couple of quite potent cocktails and David ended up very .. giggly .. hehe ;) Linda is lovely, we both enjoyed it.

Then to dinner. I had Chilled Tomato and Orange Soup, Grilled Barramundi Fillet which was quite nice, and Apple Galette which I was too full to eat much of.
And then straight to bed.
