Day 9 - Las Vegas to Barstow

This morning (unusually) we had breakfast at Denny's. We've been having a lot of dinners at Denny's, but usually for breakfast we just have the little mini packs of cereal that mum has been buying (which are fine, except for this one flavour which are these little yellow balls which go completely slimy as soon as you add milk - yuk!). So instead of our usual "Bacon, sausage and eggs" which we normally have at Denny's at dinner times, I decided to try french toast. I thought it was a little odd and didn't much go for the soggy bread.

Then we headed back into California and looked at Death Valley from Dante's View.

I got changed into my "swirlon" dress because it was very hot! We looked at the view from Zabriskie Point before heading down into the valley itself, to see the Devil's Golfcourse, and Badwater - the lowest place in the United States.
