This morning we went back into San Francisco city to get a photo of City Hall in the morning light.

Sadly we didn't get to see Alcatraz this trip. We'd lined up for tickets in the morning, but they sold out and closed the window about two groups of people in front of us, so we missed out.
Then we headed down the coast to Monterey, and had a look around at the marina and fisherman's wharf.
