Today we explored more of Arizona around Flagstaff.
Firstly, we went up to the Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument. We walked for quite a while around the volcanoes.

And then we went to the Petrified Forest which was pretty spectacular. It's hard to imagine that this area of desert was once a luscious forest. There's whole tree trunks, completely fossilised, just lying around on the ground. The visitor's centre had some beautifully polished pieces which looked amazing.
