Day 7 - St George area

First thing this morning we had a look at the Mormon temple in St George, which is bright white, and shone in the sun.

There was a great long tunnel through the mountain that we drove through several times. Finally Dad stopped the car and took a photo out of one of the air vents.

Next up we went up to Bryce Canyon National Park.  The rock formations here were amazing.  We didn't get to go for any walks down into the canyons though.

We did get to have a bit of play in the snow.  At one point I was a fair way up a hill when mum said it was time to go.  But looking back down I wasn't sure how I was going to do it without getting my feet all wet from sinking in the snow.  So mum said slide down on my parka - so I did!  Super fun!

We meandered our way south around the park, exploring the different canyons.

We headed up to Rainbow Point, which at 9105 feet is the highest I've ever been on the ground!  There was a little embankment of snow next to the car park, so after my earlier fun sliding on my parka, this time David and I had quite a lot of fun doing it here.
