Day 20 - San Francisco

This morning we tried to get some photos of the Bay Bridge from Treasure Island, but the freeway exits were a bit confusing, and we ended up on the north side instead of the south side of the island which annoyed dad somewhat. The Bay Bridge is super cool - it's double decked - with traffic going one way on the top deck, and traffic going the other way on the lower deck.

Next we headed for Lombard Street - the crookedest street in the world. We went down it twice - once with dad driving, and again with mum driving.

Then we went down to Fisherman's Wharf to have a look around there.

Next we went up Coit Tower for some great views of the city.

Back into town and found a cable car in a park. Sadly all the cable cars were not running due to major maintenance work, so we couldn't get to go on one.

Had a look at City Hall, but the lighting was all wrong for good photos.

So then headed back out to Golden Gate Bridge. Parked on the north side then walked all the way to the middle of the bridge and then back again. So we've *sort of* walked all the way across it!
