After the heat of the desert two days ago, today we were back in the snow.
Firstly we went to Sequoia National Park, to see the lovely forests of giant sequoia trees, and the amazing General Sherman tree - around 2500 years old, 83 metres high and 31 metres circumference at the base.

Then up to Kings Canyon National Park for more forests, more snow and another spectacular tree - the General Grant (labelled The Nation's Christmas Tree).
