From St George we headed south west, through the Valley of Fire to Lake Mead. We met a family of Americans in the Valley of Fire who showed us their campsite. For some reason I asked the little girl if she'd ever heard of tomato sauce (since, you know, they call it ketchup here). She had.

Then we got to see another big dam - the Hoover Dam. The dam is full at the moment.

Finally we headed into Las Vegas (we stayed at a Motel 6). After dark we went into town to look at all the lights on all the casinos. Totally brilliant. And shiny. And colourful. Loved it!
