Today we tried unsuccessfully to see more of Lassen National Park.

Instead we headed north west, stopping at some Lakes along the way.
The first was Whiskeytown Lake.

Then we got some lunch from a 7-Eleven and had it by Lewiston Lake. I'd gotten a hotdog but the sausage was yukky and the bread roll was horrible and dried. Yuk.

Continued on and saw Trinity Lake before heading to the coast.

Stayed the night in the Motel 6 in Arcata.
