Today we went to the Kodak Hula Show to see some Hawaiian and Tahitian style dancing. We found out that the type of skirts I'd always thought of as "Hawaiian" - the grass skirts - are actually Tahitian. Hawaiian skirts use large green leaves. We also had our photos taken with the "king" of Hawaii. David and I got presented with another lei at this show.

In the afternoon we swam at Waikiki, but it wasn't very good. The sand is covered in bits of old broken coral, which makes it not very nice to walk on. I think Cronulla is better than Hawaii's beaches (at least the two we tried).
