Hotel Mediolanum, Via Mauro Macchi 1, Stazione Centrale, 20124 Milan, Italy
After staying in some B&Bs the previous couple of places, it was so lovely to be in a real hotel with proper services. Reception was great. The room was clean and comfortable with fulling working air conditioning and super fast wifi. It was a little way from the main station, but not too far, and there's plenty of restaurants around. My only complaint about the room would be the awkward shower design - you had to stay up one end of the bath and be too close to the taps in order not to spray water all over the bathroom. Very nice breakfast. I would happily stay here again!
