We had a very friendly welcome and we were able to leave our bags as it was too early to check in. There is free parking on site (you have to drive around the back off the larger car park). The location is at the edge of town so it is very quiet. However there's no facilities anywhere near by (even the restaurant across the road on the lake was closed on a Saturday night), so you need to walk twenty minutes into town or drive. The room was nice enough - fairly simple and nice enough bathroom, but the room was too hot for me as there was no cooling (we had to open the windows). The bed was fairly comfortable. There were enough power points around, but a desk would have been useful in addition to the coffee table. Breakfast was fairly simple (cereal/breads/meat/cheese), although we didn't have time to enjoy it as we needed to leave early.
