Antica Birreria Viennese Ristorante
Via Della Croce, 21, 00187 Roma RM, Italy
After a morning and early afternoon on a hop-on-hop-off bus and seeing the Spanish Steps, we needed something desperately. Of course everything around that area is all tourist trap stuff and stoopidly expesive. This one wasn't *quite* as stoopidly expensive, but was still expensive for not a lot of food. I mostly let Mum pick were we ate, because she's a lot fussier about food.

Ristorante Pizzeria Al Fagianetto
Via Filippo Turati, 21, 00185 Roma RM, Italy
This place was downstairs from our B (not a B&B because there was no breakfast ;) ). Recommended by the owner. It was decent enough and the service was fairly good.

We went back a second night and again only ordered one dish between us because the night before one dish was plenty. Yeah not so much the second night and we needed to order desert.

This place was recommeded by our walking tour guide and I quite enjoyed my salad. This is where Mum tripped down a small step she didn't see because it was all black paint on the ground.

There wasn't a whole lot open in Ortona at 7pm on a Thursday night. Mum liked the look of this place (it was bright and uncrowded) so we had a four cheese pizza there.
