Day 10 - Thursday 23 November - Washington DC

Didn't really *do* too much today.

Thursday was Thanksgiving, and some things were closed, but not the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, so spent much of the day there. Saw lots of cool things, although many things were just copies of the originals, not the real thing.  Also, a couple of the exibits were closed for renovations which was pretty disappointing (including a Sputnik and Chuck Yeager's X1 jet).

Later in the afternoon went to the Holocaust Museum, which was was quite interesting.

Then walked back to the hotel, taking some nice sunset pictures on the way back.

Came back to the hotel, used the internet for half an hour, had a turkey tv dinner (it's Thanksgiving after all!) and watched most of the Indiana Jones trilogy.
