Did almost nothing on my todo list today. Other than wash the towels.
I did bake a Yum, delicious! cake this afternoon. Delightfully simple and can be made with ingredients that we always have in stock.
Also Stu really didn't feel up to going shopping, so dove into the fridge/freezer to see what we could eat all week. Found one of Kit's little roosters that she'd given us when they moved, so we slow roasted him for dinner. I felt more.. reverence.. I guess to this little bird, who I would have seen and fed while he was alive. And now he's feeding us.
It'll very much be an eat the fridge/freezer/pantry week this week.
Just waiting for the dishwasher to finish so I can go crash..
