Didn't get to sleep til after midnight by the time the carols finished, and I'd had a sad about being dumb, and the sweetie and I had talked for a bit. Then awake for ages in the middle of the night. Sigh.
ABC Classic's 7:00 news only went for five minutes instead of the usual ten, but clearly the states/national hadn't communicated, so Canberra had dead air for a few minutes from 7:05. Eventually there were some apologies announcements and they played "all by myself" until 7:10 when national cut in. lolz.
Fairly quiet morning. Did some weeding and bits and pieces in the morning. When the sweetie got up we opened some presents. Spent the rest of the morning doing some Diamond Dotz which was nice.
Late morning we headed over to Annie's where Lily&Co cooked up an awesome Christmas lunch. There was glazed ham, potato gratin, paprika potatoes, tabouleh, tomato tarts, green salad and roasted cauliflower. Had a pretty chilled afternoon, was lovely.
Stu had toast for dinner, I had some crackers. Death in Paradise 10.8 (end of season 10) then an early night.
