Forty years ago today we left Dubbo and came home via Wollar and Sandy Hollow. I didn't bother trying to recreate that part of the trip - partly because it would have meant taking an extra day off work, but also because some of the views would have been behind fences which would have made it pretty impractical. But there was a parting shot of the Macquarie River in Dubbo. I was amazed I found the same tree!
