Slept somewhat better hurray.
Got ready and finished our snackages and headed out.
First stop was Light's Vision to reproduce photos we took there in 1994. Adelaide Oval is .. bigger .. than it was thirty years ago!

Then onto Brighton. It was getting later in the morning by now and the place was packed. Drove around for ages before finding a park. Walked all the way down to the jetty and back again. As we were leaving there was much more parking. Maybe everyone gets there early for their beach runs then wander off again.

Got to the hospital late morning and we hung out again for another few hours (with lunch with Pam in the middle). All in all it was a lovely catchup weekend. I probably talked to Graham this weekend my than I have in my entire life!

We filled up the car with petrol on the way back to the airport. $6.01 worth. !! We drove 100km around Adelaide and it cost a whole $6. Funny stuff.

Before I left I put a bid in for a business class upgrade on the way back. Lowest bid was $65 so I chucked it in. And got it! haha. Funnily enough Mum actually checked in faster using the machines than I did seeing a human. I thought that the business class ticket would let me bring a guest into the lounge like lounge access passes do, but turns out they don't. Whoops. Luckily they were very nice about it and let Mum in anyway. So had some bubbles (well I did) and snackages. While we were there they called my name over the speakers. They wanted to change my 2A seat to 1F so another couple could sit together. Which was a bit annoying because that means you can't have your bag with you - has to go in the overhead lockers, so I had to grab the small camera and book and crap and carry them to put in the little pocket. And nowhere to hide the GPS. Sure enough, they were like "what's that?" and I said it was a GPS receiver but there's no transmitter in it it's just a passive receiver so it's flight friendly, but miss Bimbo of the Sky couldn't understand that and made me turn it off. Sigh.

The sweetie picked me up and we got KFC on the way home for dinner (I could have had something on the plane but I was still stressed out and there was turbulence so I don't think they were even serving the economy class peeps, and I didn't want to have to juggle a whole meal so I just got cheese and crackers after the lady next to me asked for that).

I enjoyed looking through the three days of your Adelaide Blog.
You had some nice photos. Great photo of Uncle Graham and a couple of nice ones of us both.
Glad you suggested that we go, I was thinking about it and then it was let's do it!
Thanks!
