Fun Stuff: August 2014 Archives
One of the coldest nights we had this winter was the 5-6th August. The ice on the tub of water was so thick it took a *lot* of effort to break through it to see how thick it was.
This candle was at @CLBradley's. I thought it looked like a tower out of Lord of the Rings.
Sometimes George comes in hoping to be fed (rarely happens but doesn't stop him investigting). He rarely ever stops for more than a few seconds at a time so this picture of him laying down on the sweetie is pretty rare.

The other week when I was sorting through all our receipts, a whole flock of currawongs were around the house singing to each other. For *hours*. It was a great musical accompanyment to my sorting!
Later on I got to document some of them.
The magpie larks also came down for their baths
The other fun bird that's been around is the "Midnight Magpie". This magpie has been known to sing all the way through the night. Or at least from midnight to 2am :)
Some Red Rumped Parrots were in the park the other day
And there's magpies nesting in the Westfield sign
On Horse Park Drive, snow on the Brindabellas
