Matrix Revolutions

Didn't get home in time to blog last night. Pretty tragic really, especially on a school night :)

Went and saw Matrix Revolutions with George last night. It was ok. I wasn't expecting too much from it, so I wasn't disappointed, but I found this, as well as Reloaded, just too cryptic. I "got" the first one with no problems, and thoroughly enjoyed it, but the second and third were just a little too out there.

I tried to sleep in this morning, but alas woke up early, hungry and needing to go the toilet. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

yeah i heard the film wasn't so hot. I will still go see it cos i like the others, the first is still the best and takes some beating.
Lord of the Rings out soon... can't wait, did you see the others in the trilogy? Its my fav book, and it hasnt disapointed so far...it couldn't really have been made until now because of the special effects required.. well thats what I think!

I thought the third film was better thant he second by far, but some of the fights went on too long. And the part where, uh, "she" died? They had like 11 minutes of cheesy lines. It was killing me. I wanted to yell out at the screen it was so bad. Odd thing of it was some people were crying. Crying?! I don't know why. I didn't think it was presented with any emotion, only poor writing.

My opinion is that the mistake they made was focusing more on the look of the fights and being mysterious than actually telling us a story. There would be three lines of twisted speech lasting 20 seconds, and then a fight lasting 20 minutes. That's the whole movie. At least we didn't have to look at Keanu's butt this time...
