On the last day of our cruise, they advertised a tour of the Britannia Galley, the biggest galley on the ship. This was not to be missed! I arrived fifteen minutes early and the queue was already half way down the deck 2 main corridor. At 10:30 they let us into the restaurant to sit down. They gave us a little bit of a talk, then let people go a table at a time into the galley, so it was just a continuous single file stream of people walking through the galley. Unfortunately with such a spread out group of people there wasn't really much in the way of explanations (although some chefs were standing around directing traffic and people were asking them questions). The galley is *huge* - as big as the restaurant itself. There's sections for washing up, food preparation, desserts, coffee etc etc. It was pretty quiet because we were between meals, but it was still amazing to see.
