On deck 12 portside is the entrance to the bridge. Just behind the bridge is an observeration area that you can go into between 9:00 and 16:00 on sea days. I went up there one sea day to have a look and was a little disappointed to see you can't take photos there. There was a note to this effect at the front entrance (which would be easy to miss). Inside there are two large glass viewing windows. There's a no photography icon sticker on the further window. At the far end there's an information board that shows all the different parts of the bridge and what they are. Really interesting reading. As I was reading it all, the Chief Officer came out with a sign in Cunard font that said in words no photography. He asked me if it was placed between the two glass windows would I see/read it. I said that *I* would, but it would be very easy to miss, and that really you need the no photography icon sticker in obvious locations. So we were just chatting and I said that I'd *love* to be able to take photos in there, and he said ok I could just take a quick photo. I was so excited, although asked if he'd get into trouble hehe, but then took a quick snap. I debated whether to include the photo here, as they say they don't allow photography for "security" reasons, but there's plenty of photos of the bridge if you do a Google image search so I'm not sure that this little low res pic is going to compromise any sort of security..
