Enjoyed sleeping in til I woke up this morning (which was 6:30, but hey). Got up at seven and read Harry Potter before getting around to getting ready. Much nicer situation really.
First stop of the day was to the parents' investment property in Thorneside. It's quite a nice complex and we met the caretaker and fed his bacon to the magpies. The tenant my parents have is amazing. He's a bachelor, but I've never seen a boy live so tidily. There was absolutely no mess at all and in a three bedroom flat two of the rooms were empty!

From there we wandered down to Wellington Point to see the beach and the scenery.

Then on the way back Dad got on his high horse while talking to a few local real estate agents. I won't even go there, it was pretty embarrassing.
My back seat driving role (navigator) continued as we headed out to Forest Lake to meet one of Mum's old friends Dianne for lunch. They had a couple of very cute tortoises and I tormented one of them by pulling it out of the tank to hold it :) After lunch we wandered out to see the block of land where they are building their new house.

We got back to Col's place a little early for the wedding, but it was all good. I've written that up here.
It turned out to be a really early night, and everyone started leaving around 9pm. A tonne of food and beverages leftover. There's a lunch tomorrow to try and get through it, although Dad would rather go and see national parks on the way home, so we probably won't get to go. *sigh* :(
It's karaoke night at the pub where we're staying, so trying to get to sleep tonight could be interesting :)
