Food!

Spirit of Tasmania I

We had breakfast on board Spirit of Tasmania I on our way to Tasmania.  We were lucky to be among the first to board, so I was able to get food before it got crowded.

Molly Malones Irish Pub, Devonport

The service here was pretty lacklustre, but it was great to finally find somewhere to get a beer in this town, and the food was decent enough.

Azuki Japanese Restaurant, St Helens

The food here was excellent, although you wouldn't think it from the bain maries.  But the restaurant itself had a seaside takeway vibe, which made the food seem really expensive.  They either need to have cheaper food or make it feel more like a restaurant, otherwise I don't think they'll survive.

Urgh this place was a disaster.  They opened at 12, but had a couple of tour groups coming as well as everyone else wanting a drink/food.  And ONE person on the bar.  It was chaos.  We just had a beer each then we left.
