Slept well for a very nice change!!
Still took our time getting ready though because the weather was pretty meh.
Drove down to the Rangers Station / Interpretation Centre and had a look in there (they have a cool model of the mountains there).
Then we did the Enchanted Walk from there which was very nice.

The sweetie then went back to the chalet, and I hopped on a bus into the park and registered my walk.
It was still pretty cloudy but set off anyway around 11:40.

Walked around Lake Lilla which was nice. Found the spot where our current work jigsaw was taken (better shot on the way back).

Then around Wombat Poo. Sorry, Wombat Pool.
Then up and up and up and up and up.

I'll need to climb up that high soon
There was even a chain at one point.

They say at one point the walk to Marion's Lookout takes an hour and fifteen minutes. I scoffed. I estimated it would take me closer to two. And with all the stopping I did to take photos, and the little rests, it took me til 13:30 - so my estimate was a lot closer than theirs!
So got to the top and was able to get some photos. Then sat down and had some lunch.

Next I headed up the overland track a ways to see what I could see at the top of the plateau. Except it just kept going up, and no view because the rain closed in. So gave up on that.

By the time I got back to Marion's Lookout the rain had passed and could see stuff again. So went back up to try and find a photo spot of Dad's. And was able to get some better shots of the mountain.

Then back to the chalet (Stu picked me up from the visitor's centre to save me the twenty minute walk).
Had a quick shower then we had a spa!! With wine!! So that was lovely.

Then Stu cooked dinner of instant noodles and pulled pork while I did gps/photos and had dinner watching Big Bang Theory.
Then washed my hair and collapsed into bed.
