Slept mostly ok, but having gone to bed at 21:00 I woke up at 5:00. Whoops.
Eventually got up and got ready then headed off by myself (the sweetie wanted his own morning of a slow breakfast and looking at bookstores).
First stop was the Cat and Fiddle. I was there for 9:00 and waited for it, but by 9:01 nothing had happened so I wandered off.
Then headed up to St Mary's Catholic Cathedral, but while I could see through the glass door I couldn't actually go in.

Then down to St David's Anglican Cathedral, which I could go in and it was quite nice.

Popped back into the hotel to pick up the battery for the GPS and have a drink then headed out again.
Went back to Cat and Fiddle and asked someone in the donut shop if the thing still worked and he said it did so I waited. At 10:01 it did its thing. heh.

Then went to the Reject Shop to have a look, and to Target and bought some more packing cubes and a tshirt as well.
Met up with the sweetie at breakfast, then dropped stuff back in the room.
Wandered down to Parliament House which was quite pretty in the morning sun.

Went back to the room to go to the loo then walked up to work to see the Tassie office. Then Dewy, Rob and Justin and I walked back down to Salamanca and ended up at the Whaler for beers and lunch. So that was really nice.

Went back to the room again because the sweetie was back there and we may have had a siesta.
Headed out again, this time all the way to Battery Point. I went and found a photo spot Dad where took a photo in 1979 and amazed a lady working there with it (sent her a copy). Wandered round Princes Park and down Kelly Steps. And had a beer in Irish Murphy's.

Came back to the room and had one of the Bruny Island beers and then went and got dinner from Thai Station which wasn't too bad, and watched some Big Bang Theory before doing gps/photos/blogging/hair washing.
