Friday 12.9.25
Today was the preparation day for the radiotherapy (aka The Nuking).
I had a 10:00 appointment, and took Con's advice to park outside and not in the Tower of Doom.
Once I got taken in I took off my top stuff and got into a gown, then waited for a bit.
They took me into a scanning room and got me setup on a platform and adjusted me. They stuck these little metal stickers on me to align stuff I guess. In the CT scan went in and out a few times. Had to do 25 second breath holds a couple of times to practise doing it for when I need to do it in the machine later. Hopefully I did it right. At the end they tattooed me with a few little blue dots.
I was done by around 11:00 and then had to wait around for a bit to talk to one of the nurses. We had a chat about what to expect and they gave me some information.
Waited around a bit for a medical certificate and out around 11:25.
