Rant: January 2021 Archives

I've been cranky for no good reason for much of this break, and this holiday has been too damned short anyway.  

So here's some crap to avoid.. name and shame and all that..

First off there's Platinum Seal.  I asked them for a quote online at the end of August.  They got back to me once and said they'd come out on a day in early September.  But we were away in Tumut so I was a day late seeing the mail, tried to confirm, but never heard back from them.  I filled in their form again but never got a response.  Bottom line is:  they have no interest in my business.

Then there's Mega Sealed.  I asked them for a quote, and a dude came out and had a look at the shower.  Said he'd send me a quote within 24 hours.  Never did.  I filled in their online form again to follow up, and never got a response.  Bottom line is:  they have no interest in my business.

Then there's this retard who says to dump all the sugar into the egg whites at once when making a pavlova.  No.  Just no.  No no no no no.  Fricken idiot.

Dog was barking non stop for two and three quarter hours this morning before we went out.

And Stu meant to buy a synthetic rug (so the moths wouldn't eat it) and after we took the labels off it, we found out it was wool.  Hurrah.
