If you're lucky enough to board via deck 3, you'll enter at the top of the Grand Lobby. The Grand Lobby is five stories high and yet feels somehow kind of small! For some reason I was expecting it to look bigger, possibly influenced by images of other cruise ships. But as always, the Queen Mary 2 doesn't go over the top, it's just understated elegance. They removed two glass elevators from the lobby during the refit in 2016 to open up the space a bit. On deck 2 in the lobby is the Purser's Office, and the Tour Office.
