1. Do you remember your first best friend? Who was it?
Yes. Donna Bonnefin. We were best friends from about Kindergarten through to year 2 or 3. Then she dumped me for Kerry Williams. I saw them once after primary school; that was fifteen years ago.

3. Do you have a current close friend?
Close friend or best friend? I have about 3 close friends, one best friend.
4. How did you become friends with this person?
Met them while they were working in commed and I was doing my honours degree
5. Is there a friend from your past that you wish you were still in contact with? Why?
Sometimes I get vague feelings of nostalgia when thinking about people I used to know. But I suck at keeping up with people.

Well I'm not planning on having kids, but if I did, see above
3. Have you re-read any of those childhood stories and been surprised by anything?
er, not really
4. How old were you when you first learned to read?
I think I could read a little by the time I got to school
5. Do you remember the first 'grown-up' book you read? How old were you?
I don't know about "grown up" books, but the first book I ever read that had relatively explicit sex in it was "The Hindenburg Disaster" by Jeff Rovin when I was about 15
