Last poisoning!!!
Took ages to get to sleep then awake from 4 for ages.
This time I tried to hydrate my veins before I got there - so I had a least a litre of water in the morning! It did mean that I needed to pee in the middle of the treatment though.
I asked them to please try my right hand first, even with the evidence of the docetaxel burn from round one, and Le got it in first go yayy!!
Waited for the akynzeo to kick in. I really do hate that stuff.
10:55 was the docetaxel for the hour plus a bit for flushes.
12:15 was the cyclophosphamide for half an hour plus a bit for flushes.
I couldn't face a toasted sandwich for lunch - I literally felt nauseous at the thought of it (association from last time), but they had some cheese and crackers and a fizzy lemonade so that was a lot nicer.
I got to ring the bell on the way out and the nurses cheered haha. They gave me a nice card too which was lovely. I debated whether I'd ring the bell. I reckon you should do it a week later after the worst of the symptoms have passed...
