After coming home from hospital I've been in complete denial about everything. I went back to work on Wednesday and didn't think much about anything. I didn't take my temperature. Had some soft poops but no diarrhoea. No other symptoms to speak of - no nausea, no issues with sleeping. I did have maybe two nights (in hospital and the night after) where I woke up sweaty. Have some bruising on my arm and hand but not too bad.

Tony took me to the arboretum for some sunshine.

In the afternoon/evening I noticed the top/back of my head/hair hurt a bit.

While washing my hair this morning I thought maybe a bit of hair was falling out. Very distracted morning at work.. literally tearing my hair out! Well not tearing.. pulling gently.. hmmm.
Stu bought me a cute little hat to wear.
Thursday 24.7.25
More hair loss. In fact my scalp *hurt*. I took a panadol at one point, I even had a panadeine at bed time because it hurt all over and I couldn't lie in any position without putting pressure on my scalp.
Friday 25.7.25
Saw Dr LM and Icon today to talk about the first cycle. He recommended a regimen of panadol and claratine over the weekend after treatment. He's going to drop my docetaxel dose to 85% due to the colitis. He also suggested maybe not just going straight to hospital if I have a mild fever, but take some panadol, wait, repeat a couple of times, and only go to hospital if it still doesn't go down. Yeah that's what I should have done the first time. I asked him about a more flexible medical certificate and he just said to write one up myself and he'd sign it. Funny stuff.

May have had a bottle of glühwein since I couldn't join the Christmas in July party. First drink in weeks.
