Our anniversary!
Went and got breakfast from The Scottish Restaurant, this time with hotcakes.
After breakfast we headed back to the zoo, this time we decided to drive and mostly skip the first half that we'd done pretty well yesterday. Although we did stop at a few things again. Being a Monday and not a public holiday in NSW, the place was practically deserted. Maybe it was just because we skipped ahead, but a lot of places we had to ourselves which was pretty nice. Had a lot more energy for the second half, and saw things we missed yesterday.

We were done by about lunch time, and went into town to find some lunch. Had a bread roll and rice paper rolls from a bakery in town.

Then we parked the car under Woollies and went to the Old Dubbo Gaol. Stu's back was hurting again, but we did look around at everything and read most of the info boards. Spent about two hours there, and I got the photo of the gallows to reproduce the one from 1981.

Then back to the motel to crash for a few hours so Stu could rest his back.
Later I put on some cooking and game shows on, and finally saw an episode of Letters and Numbers.
Went out. Had a drink at the Milestone Hotel, then went next door to Hog's Breath Cafe for dinner. They very nicely offer different sizes of steaks, so I could get a small one and not end up stuffed silly, so that worked really well. Stu had steak and ribs. All quite nice.
