As I noted in the previous post, I have a feeling we stayed the night in Glen Davis, as I think I have a vague memory of being there fairly early in the morning.
Apparently I would have loved a longer ride on this horse (I was horse obsessed as a little kid)

Crown Mountain in the Capertee Valley

Gulgong Pioneers' Museum. Mum has memories of this being a really good museum. I have no memories of it at all.

Back when Australia had paper money, Gulgong was always "the town on the ten dollar note". This is the Ten Dollar Town Motel (although I don't think this building itself was ever on the ten dollar note). You can just see Mum, me and David out the front.

Presumably we then drove on to Dubbo to stay the night.
