Accessible from the grounds of Duntroon is Mount Pleasant with some nice views of Canberra. The trees on the side of the hill have changed quite a bit, and if I stand in the spot mum took her photo, Black Mountain and the Kings Avenue Bridge are completely obscured by trees! In 1986 there was a good view of the New Parliament House under construction. Now the view from the same spot just has trees.
