Cockington Green

After petrol, this was the most expensive place to revisit for this project ($19.50). It was also probably the hardest to try and get all the photos for, because there were so many from 1986 to start with. And it's a bit hard trying to line things up based on tiny photos on a phone screen. It's only afterwards when you get all the photos on your computer that you realise you could have lined things up better. But I did pretty well in the end. The biggest difference at Cockington Green is the trees. The main building is now no longer visible from much of the green due to trees that have grown up in front of it. Many of the original model buildings are still there. Some have been rearranged slightly and many (probably all?) have been repainted. It looks as if you used to be able to walk around behind the maze, but I don't think this is the case anymore. Cockington Green also now has an international section that wasn't there in 1986, but I haven't included photos here.
