Sunday.  28th.  Cooked up an epic lamb roast ($22/kg from Tathra Place in the markets) and veggies for dinner, then watched The Big Year (which some random dude on our holiday told us about).  It was a bit "serious" for all the comedic actors in it, but kinda cool.

Monday.  Slept relatively ok I think, for a change.  Spent much of the day geotagging holiday photos.  Stu also pulled out all the bedroom furniture to vacuum nearly 18 years worth of dust behind stuff...

Had some of Lily's Youfoodz for dinner.

Watched Professor T 1.5 together then I watched Taxi Driver which I've never actually seen.

Tuesday.  Took ages to get to sleep, epic restless.  Finished geotagging holiday photos.

In the afternoon we went to Palmerville for a walk and to do some birdwatching.  This Bell 206L-1 (VH-OAS) chopper had been buzzing around Canberra all day, Evoenergy checking powerlines.

Then watched Professor T 1.6 together (end of season one) then I watched a doco on the Titanic - Titanic: Digital Resurrection.  Considering the effort they went to to digitise the ship, the computer graphics they also used were pretty cheesy.  Interesting though.

Wednesday.  April Fools!  Slept okish, only awake for an hour or two around 3.  Back to work.  Yeup definitely an April Fool.  Spent most of the day catching up on chats and emails.  

The sweetie cooked up a heap of veggies and I fried up some lamb, then we watched Professor T 2.1.

Then spent the rest of the evening putting up reviews of all the places we stayed on our holiday in booking.com.

Thursday.  Took ages to get to sleep.  Mostly still catching up on crap at work.  Had a gin night at drinks but hardly anyone else turned up.  Sad times. 

Bus home (trying to save petrol) then made pizzas for dinner and watched Professor T 2.2.

Friday.  Good Friday.  Although not so good for Jesus back in the day.  Slept mostly ok.  Didn't get much done all day sigh.  Pretty much a nothing day.  We did go for another walk in the afternoon to Palmerville to try out Stu's new toy (all the bird pics I'll put in another post one day).

Kievs for dinner then Professor T 2.3.  I then watched "Challenger Disaster: Lost Tapes" from 2015, which was mostly footage around Christa McAuliffe.. (as an aside, I didn't know that her backup, Barbara Morgan, later went on to be a full-blown astronaut in her own right.. cool!).  Eerily, the peeps that are on their way to the moon right now used booster rockets from the shuttle programme.. that wouldn't be freaky .. at. all.   .. !!)

Saturday.  Only awake for an hour or two around midnight.  Spent literally the entire morning doing housework.  Sigh.  Went out with EB to have a look at the new road around the north/east side of the airport which was pretty cool, had a good long drive around the area, then went in to Quangers for lunch at the Royal Hotel (had a very nice caesar salad).

Stu cooked a tuna bake and veggies for dinner then we watched Professor T 2.4.  I then watched Lantana which I'd never seen before.  Lots of unlikeable characters behaving badly.  Hurrah.

Easter Sunday.  He is risen!  Slept mostly okish I think.  Woke up 6am!  But 5am in reality. Sigh. Didn't achieve really anything all day.  Stu took Stumpy outside for a walk.

In the afternoon we went over to Annie's for afternoon tea and catchup with the family.  Pebbles wasn't being *quite* the scardey cat...

Leftovers for dinner.  The just-past full moon was rising and it was like, hey there's four peeps in between me and that bright shiny thing!  Pretty cool!  Then watched Molly's Game, which I'd seen on a plane but Stu hadn't seen.  

Monday.  Slept mostly okish.  Got a bunch of Europe 2016 photo stuff done, and a heap of jigsaw.  Stu has cooked up a bunch of veggies to have with some leftover lamb for dinner.

Thursday.  26th.  Got home from our holidays around 17:00ish.  I started the download of photos from the Canon and my phone and also the GPS and blogged the last couple of days of the holiday.  The sweetie ordered pizzas and we watched Professor T 1.2.

Friday.  Awake from 3:40 hurrah. Did some unpacking and house stuff. Went outside to check on my plants and was horrified to discover my chrysanthemum is dead. Sigh. It'd obviously had some issues previously, but when I got to it it was bone dry and all the green leaves (and little flower buds) had dried out.  I chucked it under the awing to get a good soaking and I'm just HOPING that there'll be something left alive in it to send out some new shoots.

Everything else was fine though, thanks Tony.  Didn't stop me being zombie tired *and* depressed though.

Got some stuff done but not nearly as much as I wanted to. I did get some pretty amazing support out of Region media though. Their RSS feed stopped working at the end of February (which I didn't notice because we were travelling and I wasn't really keeping up with most of my feeds). Looks like they were blocking automated clients - it still worked in a browser. Anyways I took a punt on their support address and emailed them, and shortly afterwards got a mail back saying they'd fixed it. .. !! .. And sure enough they had! I was impressed :) Kievs for dinner then Professor T 1.3.

Saturday.  So had an earlyish night and thought I got to sleep ok, but then woke up at 4:11 for a couple of hours. Sigh. So an hour late starting my day. Not as zombie tired though so that was useful - was able to process (rotate and rename) all my Canon photos from the holiday and back them up. Also started going through receipts/statements to figure out how much the holiday cost. Hint: it was a lot. We spent over $800 on petrol! Eeep! In the afternoon we went over to Annie's for a while which was nice. And brought home seven tv dinners that Lily had bought by mistake and couldn't eat (and no one else wanted).

Had said tv dinners for dinner (they were tasty!) and watched Professor T 1.4.

Then I watched Elio which was a bit of fun, but really just a fun kids movie. "Your disk is muted" haha.  Also watched a video Dave2 linked to about how Pixar is so fundamentally different now.

Sunday.  Bed normal time, awake for chunks of the night sigh. So I was fairly tired although not completely zombie tired. Ploughed through some of the todo list, and finished sorting holiday finances. 43% went on accommodation, 19% on food and drink, 10% on booze, 9% on petrol, 6% on transport (mostly the ferry to Kangaroo Island), 4% on entrance costs to things, and little bits on donations, tips, fees, laundry, parking and some I counted as gifts (for Tony as well as taking peeps out for dinner/drinks).

Sunday.  8th.  John Williams' birthday.  I really must remember that.  Not that he's likely to have many left.. he's fricken 94!!!!  Stu cooked up some chicken with mushroom sauce and some greens which was very yummy. Then we watched the old school Disney version of Peter Pan.

Monday.  Early night. Interrupted by the mother type person calling. Then I was restless. And awake from 5. Hurrah. Some tickets and crap in the morning and spent most of the afternoon writing up more stuff to decommission. Stu cooked some pork and fennel sausages with cabbage for dinner (the sausages were a bit dry unfortunately), then we watched the last episode of season 2 of MacGyver.

Tuesday.  Okish sleep I think. Busy day I think. Stu cooked some yummy creamy lemon chicken for dinner then into season 3 of MacGyver.

Wednesday.  Took ages to get to sleep - epic restless legs.

Super busy day - barely any time for jigsaw breaks! Stu cooked a cauliflower bake and goats cheese stuffed mushrooms which were very yummy.

Thursday.  Woke up around midnight cause my guts were upset for some unknown reason. Then stayed awake for a couple of hours waiting for things to settle. Sigh.

Busy day deleting All The Things.  Good drinks - lots of people.  Pizzas for dinner.  Not quite a repeat of the last two weeks as we were out of mushrooms.  There's pepperoni and feta, olive and capers, and tomato and spring onion.

Then MacGyver then started watching Airport to keep us awake til Kit and Pete got here (they'd come up for a comedy cruise and thought they'd play tourist here for a couple of days).

Friday the 13th.  Slept okish I think. Busy day of decoms and tickets and crap. Chilled out with Kit and Pete after work and got Turkish delivered from Lokma (the same place Mishi did last weekend).

Chatted for a while then watched an episode of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency which was.. bizarre haha.

Saturday.  Happy Valentine's Day.. remembered various anniversaries of my family that can't really be celebrated anymore. 

Mostly awake from 3 and fully awake from 5 sigh. Zombie morning. Kit and Pete wandered off for much of the day and I did mostly Lego stuff (and some dotz!!!).

Also made up breakfasts for the week.

Kit and Pete brought home some Luv-a-Duck peking duck for dinner which was awesome.

Later we played a game of Ticket to Ride (Europe) which I won, but it was actually really close and one move either way would have changed the outcome.

Sunday.  Slept slightly better. Did some dotz in the morning. Went with Kit and Pete to the Old Bus Depot Markets which I've never actually been to before! It was very uncrowded, and apparently a shadow of its former self. 

Then dropped into Canberra Glassworks which I've also never been to.

Anyone know what this is?  Google image search suggests either an epic insulator (seems unlikley) or an air raid siren...  Edit:  another search indicates it was in fact an air-raid siren!

Kit and Pete wandered off home and I did some food shopping on the way home. Then tried to get KFC for lunch but the lazy or hard of hearing server mistook "large Pepsi Max" for "large chips" (which I annoyingly didn't pick up on), and then completely ignored me when I asked for a receipt. And the girl getting the chicken dropped a piece onto the floor because she was being careless. Hopeless. Talked to the mother for a while in the afternoon and then my weekend is over. hrmmm.

And Windows is STILL forgetting my photo in tray folder settings. Windows 11 is seriously BAD!!!

Sunday.  25th.  Stoopidly hot day.  I should have taken some screenshots when it got even hotter later in the week..

So we turned the oven on and cooked a cauliflower bake and other veggies. As you do. Then watched Kangaroo Island (2024 movie).

Monday.  Nice quiet day. With an epic lunch at the Burns Club Star Buffet with David and Kellie (they'd come up for the drone show). Whoops.  

I started to feel full about half way through this

And by this point I was feeling like Mr Creosote but still had dessert to get through..  They totally should have After-Dinner-Mints because that would just be funny.

No dinner required so Stu got himself a pizza. Then we watched Inside Job, a documentary on the 2008 GFC.  Made in 2010 yet we still hadn't seen it.

Tuesday.  Went to bed nice and early (while the first drone show was on that I missed out on on account of it was all too hard and I wanted to go to sleep), but awake from 4:11. Mostly finished up the AD rules I've been working on for months, then started in earnest on a cleanup of some desktop objects. My headset dropped out right in the middle of a meeting which was annoying.  Stu cooked some little school whiting with Japanese cucumber salad for dinner, then we put on some MacGyver, which we haven't watched since 2019.

Wednesday.  Slept okish. More work on the desktop and ldap rules. Stoopidly hot - like 42. And the building aircon didn't work half the morning. #grunt. 

Had lunch at Rashays for the first time since their $5 lunch specials in 2019.

Nearly killed Neil giving him a lift home.. eep!!!!! Mince and salad for dinner then MacGyver.  My headset seems to have a dicky connection - if you hold the mute/volume button cables in the middle just right you can get audio, otherwise nothing.  Annoying.

Thursday.  Took hours to get to sleep and restless half the night. Sigh. Probably the weather - way too hot even with the cooler going. LDAP rules and testing for a change. Good drinks. Made three pizzas for dinner - a pepperoni and feta, an olive and capers and a mushroom.  Then MacGyver.

Stu got out his epic mouse mat in the last week or so and put out some of his ships..

Friday.  Slept okish til about 5:15. Spent pretty much all day doing a huge cleanup of objects for our desktops. It was crazy. Five different firewalls and dozens of objects on each. Mental. Stu lent/gave me another headset but it's very heavy. Kievs for dinner then MacGyver.

Saturday.  Hot and restless. So not great sleep. Fairly quiet day. Did go out to drop off a baking dish to Annie and do our food shopping. Like mad dogs or Englishmen.

And with all that new fresh food in the house we got Chong Co for dinner. hrmmm.

Then watched The Boy and the Heron which was.. weird.. even for Ghibli standards. It was stoopid hot today, even with the cooler going hard it's still hot in the house. Well ok 24.4, but that's hot for me!!

Sunday.  Slept relatively well considering the heat. Another quiet day of fish and photo stuff and not having time for music because I spent most of the afternoon cooking keto breakfasts for the next week. hrmm.  Oh, that's the first use of a Coles baking dish I got for free a few years ago, but pressed into service after I cracked our last baking dish putting a frozen turkey roll into a hot oven..

Wednesday.  New Years Eve.  After I posted my end of year post and year in review post I shut my computer down because of the incoming storm and went and did some dotz for a while. At dinner time we headed over to Annie's for nibbles and drinks. Lovely catchup.

Left maybe around 22:30 because some of them were headed to Melbourne in the morning. We put on The Fifth Element to keep us awake til midnight then watched the Sydney fireworks.

Just beforehand they had Mel C and I'm like .. what .. two years in a row of having British acts before the Sydney fireworks!? (last year was Robbie Williams) Weird. Then we watched rage for an hour. Whoops.

wtf.. Michael Jackson and Eddie Murphy.. Whatzupwitu .. ????  Never heard of it.. pretty much as mindblowingly random as German Bold Italic by Kylie Minogue!

Thursday.  New Years Day!!  Slept okish all things considered, even slept til about 8:00. Cooked up some cheesy hash browns for breakfast, with added freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Went and climbed Mt Rogers in an attempt to pretend to be healthy.

Saw *two* of these epic caterpillars!

Then just Lego and dotz.

I did pick up a few jigsaws from Jo. Whoops.

After prepping dinner I looked at my todo list. And got completely overwhelmed. Hrmmm. Cooked up a tuna bake and a bunch of veggies for dinner then we watched the end of season 5 of Stranger Things.

Friday.  Slept relatively well. Logged onto work for a bit to be NEIL. Then wandered off again. Did some gardening - potted a ribbon grass and trimmed the ferns. Late morning we headed out to do some shopping. The mall was feral. Officeworks parking was feral. Idiots breaking road rules were feral. Had lunch at Grease Monkey.

I'd been wanting to get some silicone baking mats for a while because we go through a *lot* of baking paper.  How cool are these? They have measurements and circles for making circular things (and another one has cookie circles you can use)

In the afternoon made some Lego and did some dotz. Dinner was a mouthful of ice cream and later some cheese and crackers. Yeah we were still full from lunch. Then we watched the end of 2023 Beyond Paradise Christmas special which was nice. Tried for an early night. Failed.

Saturday.  Slept mostly ok. Frustrating morning rescanning Mum's slides - every time I rescanned some slides there would be fluff in different positions. So annoying. Dotz, Lego, jigsaw. Finished the leftover turkey for dinner then watched the new Knives Out (Wake Up Dead Man) which was a bit of fun. Oh, one night, maybe Friday, we finished watching The Fifth Element.

Sunday.  Slightly early night and got to sleep ok, then woke up a bit before 23:00 with the storm. Then stayed awake. For HOURS. Sigh. Zombie tired day. Finished rescanning Mum's slides. A storm went through in the morning but just missed us (got like three drops of rain).

Let's see if I can give myself food poisioning by eating this week and a bit old parmi and chips.. spoiler alert.. didn't get sick!

Finished building Vic's City sets. Finished a jigsaw. So lots of finishing things today which was good for the last day of the break. We had a life planning meeting this afternoon. Then I got overwhelmed again thinking about my project list. Sigh.

Kellie and David gave me this for Christmas last year so come December I started opening them!

When I opened day 2 I couldn't get at the earrings.  They'd loaded the plastic insert backwards, so I had to pull the whole thing out and put it back in the other way around.  Dunno if I got the correct "order".. not that it matters heh.

Sunday.  14th.  Backdating this a few days.  Had leftovers for dinner then we watched a documentary "Lost Melbourne" about the loss of a lot of old buildings in Melbourne in the name of progress. Melbourne is still a lot better off than a lot of cities though, even Sydney.

Monday.  Awake from 12 for ages, then again from 5 for ages. Hurray.  Busy day not achieving much.  Went to Four Winds with Tony for our now annual tradition of wine and pizza.  Such a lovely place out there.

Did some Christmas music on the sax in the evening.

Tuesday.  Crap sleep. Awake every hour or so feeling hot and needing to cool down. Another day of not achieving much. But we did have a division Christmas party at work which was nice. Came like second in the two lolly guessing competitions. After work we went and picked up the mother type person at Jolimont then went to the Labor Club for dinner.

Got home and looked at Mum's slide show of Croatia and Greece, then we looked at all of Dad's photos of Tasmania.

Wednesday.  Restless sleep. Fairly chilled morning, did a bit of cleaning.

Eventually D/K/S left Junee so I made apple sauce then a potato bake then another potato bake then the roast pork then a veggie tray bake.

Blue cheese potato bake (with thyme), bacon potato bake, brussels sprouts, sweet potato, spring onion and bacon (with hazelnuts), apple sauce.  Just missing the pork which is in the oven by this point

Just finished doing all that when they arrived - great timing! Kellie brought a heap of noms so we had those and did photos and presents and stuffs while lunch cooked.

The pork turned out fairly well (the crackling worked really well but the meat may have been a little overdone).

Played a game of Five Crowns although I got super frustrated near the end when several rounds in a row people went out before I'd even had one turn, or maybe had just had one turn. So upsetting. I don't even know who won in the end.  Played a bit of Pictionary but just playing through cards not actually using the board. Put on Flying High in the evening. D/K/S left and Mum and I finished watching the movie ourselves.  All in all a lovely day.

Thursday.  Awake from some time after 2. Hurray. Dropped Mum off at Jolimont then went to work. Did a bit of party prep and DC rules work. At drinks I took up all the leftover cans of drinks from the work family party that I bought off Neil and washed them all (they were all covered in dirt). Pizzas for dinner then Love Actually but it was too late a night :(

Friday.  Awake from 4:53.  Sigh.  Then I started thinking about the day's party and all bets were off.  Hurray.  Party prep in the morning then party all afternoon! 

Sadly I didn't catch any birds this year.  Leftovers for dinner then we watched part 1 of a documentary on the Gamestop nonsense. 

Saturday.  Awake from like 3:30. Hurray.  Spent much of the morning sorting out the rubbish and recycling from the party. Super annoyingly, some helpful person tried to clean up, and very helpfully threw out a bunch of the plastic forks. Pissed off about that because those things are irreplaceable!!! I also chipped a tooth on the last of the pork crackling I had at lunch. Sigh.  Storms and epic clouds in the evening.

Monday.  I keep getting the same APOD pic in my RSS feed. Went to the site and it hadn't been updated since Wednesday and had this note: "Due to the lapse in federal government funding, NASA is not updating this website. We sincerely regret this inconvenience." Sad times.

Quiet day. Actually had some time to do some hobbies which was nice. Feel like I don't have enough time on weekends for any fun stuff. So today was kinda nice. Leftovers for dinner. DS9 7.23 then finished watching The Antisocial Network.

In the afternoon got absorbed in proxy stuff and almost forgot to go get nuked. Got home a bit late and asked the sweetie what he wanted for dinner. hrmm.

Wednesday.  Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! .. Sounds like another song..

Slept somewhat better but awake super early. Another day of being busy but not achieving much. Nuking session 5, they were ready for me as soon as I got there. Leftovers for dinner then the finale of Deep Space Nine. Pretty decent finale actually. Except for Worf looking around and not seeing Jadzia in the montage, how dumb is that!? And no Rom or Leeta?? Why not?? Got back to my computer and it had rebooted. hmmm.  Logged in, and it crashed - black screen of death. Held my breath as I rebooted it again. Possibly windoze updates caused it to crash in the first place. I was going to make some other comments about my day but I forget now, because my computer had crashed and it took so long to get back in that I'd forgotten stuff. Sigh.

Oh, met one of the new neighbours today. I heard a car and person out the front so go out to open the door. Dude has left a package and is leaving. I say that he can knock if he likes and he said, oh I was just taking a photo then I was going knock. BS. You were already walking away. Whatever. So take the package inside. It's not for us. It's for the neighbours. So I go out again and try and stop the dude and told him he needs to go down the back for next door, and he's like, isn't this all the one house. Um. No. And he wouldn't take it, he was like, can you just take it. Fricken useless Fedex driver. They're getting as bad as America. Anyways, so dude's truck was there so I went down and gave it to him and said hi.  

Got depressed about closing off browser tabs I had open for the Europe trip I never went on. Sigh.

Thursday.  Slept like crap - awake for half the night hot and sweaty and restless. Fighting with All The Stoopid all day. Nuking session 6. They're too efficient, I never get time to do any jigsaw while I wait - pretty much every time I've been (except for one) they grab me as soon as I've changed! Watched this POV of Rise of the Resistance at lunch which was pretty cool. Definitely not as epic as doing it for reals though! 

Pizzas for dinner, then we watched a documenatry on Deep Space Nine called What We Left Behind which was pretty cool.  

Friday.  Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.. More stuff I need to remember.

More restless sleep. Another day of All The Crap from All The People wanting All The Things. Nuking day 7. Nearly half way done. Kievs for dinner then Wednesday 2.1. Then I watched Lilo and Stitch, the original animated version. Which I haven't seen in at least 20 years. I don't remember if I saw this at the movies or later. But it was before 2006.

Saturday.  Not great sleep again. Busy busy morning. Spent a good chunk of the afternoon trying to sort Mum's slides into chronological order based on frame information. Sadly Mum wasn't great about noting dates on her slides. Some I can't even pick a year - could be 1967 or 1968. There's a few places where frame numbers don't line up with dates. Meanwhile Stu's back pain is subsiding, replaced with weird hearing issues and vertigo and now nausea. Hurrah.  Cooked a pasta bake for dinner with some potatoes and zucchini then watched Wednesday 2.2.

Sunday.  Slept okish. We haven't run the heater in a few days. So had a look at the controller. Sure enough it's continually flashing on and off. So I have a feeling that it's actually the heater playing up, as this is the behaviour that we've seen when it hasn't been run for a while. Day of trying to keep on top of crap and fit some hobbies in there somewhere.

And Windoze has forgotten all my folder settings.  AGAIN.  #hate

Sunday.  29th.  Dinner was leftovers I brought home from the club. DS9 4.18 then Lego Masters 7.9.

Monday.  Early night, but took ages to get to sleep then woke up at like 3:30 for ages. Did eventually get a bit more sleep but not much.

Spent the day staring at the rules in a dev environment that are a mishmash of several versions of things including imports of prod. It's a complete mess. I've been wanting to clean it up for literally seven years and finally had a good excuse because I need to do it to prep for a project that will require us to actually do real work in there (and I can't see anything in there at the moment). Slept mostly ok. Definitely had energy this morning more so than other mornings recently. Had my morning routine done by like 7:40 instead of after 8. Not quite the whole day cleaning up dev (too many people wanting things) but I did delete nearly 1360 policies that weren't in use - winning!!

It was perfect soup weather on Tuesday

Cooked a tuna bake (forgot the dill) with brussels sprouts and broccolini for dinner.

Andor 2.11. The second half of this series has definitely picked up quite a bit, I'm enjoying it a lot more. Then it was sorting out Mum's photos, removing some duplicates and getting a "definitive" version for picking later.

Wednesday.

Slept mostly ok. Deleted more crap today. Went into the city after work to get a filter for a new lens I'm hoping to get because Ted's said it wouldn't be available til like September. Turns out it was the lens not available not the filter.. which makes more sense but FFS now I have two filters and no lens. Sigh.

Leftovers for dinner. Andor 2.12 (season finale) then Lego Grand Masters of the Galaxy 7.11 (season finale). **spoilers** .. I reckon Trent and Alex's build was totally win-worthy, but obviously Brickman preferred the art of Henry and Cade's.

Thursday.  Slept okish. More deleting crap and tidying and documenting what's left in the dev environment I'm working on.

Good drinks although not many people. Pizzas then DS9 4.19 then the Bomb and the Cold War episode 8. Before it started I was telling Stu that I'd really like to watch a documentary on some thing I was thinking about.. but we started watching the show and forgot about it. And then for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was that we were talking about. And neither could Stu. All we could remember was it was some engineering thing, because I remember telling him that I liked engineering stuff like dams, bridges and towers, but I never could have been an engineer cause I'm dumb and no good at advanced maths. Oh well.

Friday.  

Acts 4:12 - Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved .. Peter talking about Jesus to the High Priest, elders and the teachers of the law in Jerusalem after he was arrested for talking about the resurrection.

Slept relatively ok. Did a bit of tidying/documenting but not as much as I'd have liked. Found this video by Kurzgesagt quite depressing.  Chris didn't have Kievs so we had some chicken pieces but they were a bit too spicy for me. I did make a nice dipping sauce of yoghurt, garlic powder, lemon juice and dill though.

Death in Paradise 14.7 then Flying High because I needed something light.

Saturday.  Awake from like 1:30 til after 5 or so. Stressing about All The Things. Hurray. Surprisingly unzombielike though. Mostly Lego filing all day. Annie came over for a while in the afternoon which was nice and she brought some nice peanut butter and choc chip cookies she made. Dumpling Inn for dinner then we watched Rogue One, which worked well after just finishing Andor.

Sunday. 

Acts 4:32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.... oof yeah that doesn't happen much anymore!

Slept through til ~4 before waking up and never getting back to sleep. Stressing about All The Things. Got some stuff done during the day but not nearly enough.

Food shopping in the afternoon.

On our anniversary last weekend we did a bit of a magical mystery tour of Canberra.  We went to a heap of "our" places (mostly friends/family).  

We drove past Annie and Stu's, Mishi's and our old place

Past Scott and Kerry's old old house (which has been demolished and replaced with two townhouses)

And into Ainslie

Where we returned to the scene of the crime!

Had a long chat with the lady cleaning the church.

Then into Ainslie shops.

Past the War Memorial

And up Mount Ainslie

Then we headed for home

It was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours with the sweetie!
