Last Sunday night the sweetie and I went with Annie and Stu to Raku for dinner.  They'd been there previously and wanted to go with us.

It was all delicous, a very lovely meal.

But on a side note.  I do get that fine dining is expensive.  I get that there's a lot of manual labour to produce these beautiful dishes and so I get the high prices for food.  What I don't get is the markup on wine.  We got a bottle of Mount Majura Pinos Gris to share.  This bottle retails at $30.  Raku sell it for $75 for a bottle or $15 per glass.  That's totally in rip-off territory.  This sort of over charging does put me off.  Just saying.

Before we left I went to the loo.  See anything wrong with this picture?

Raku toilets

Yeah there's no toilet roll holder.  And as soon as I grabbed it of course it fell on the floor lolz.
