Oh did I mention we got evaporative cooling installed during the week?  Should make summers here a *lot* more bearable.

Tonight I finally finished building all Zac's Lego sets.  Fun times.  Now to document it all..

Other weekend stuff included watching Top Gun on Friday night and Star Trek First Contact on Saturday night (we'd just watched Metamorphosis with Zefram Cochrane so were inspired), as well as repotting some of my plants that needed some love.

How much did it cost? I got someone around to quote getting it installed here last week too. I'd be interested to find out how effective it is.

Kevin: yeah it's basically a fan that blows over a wet surface. The evaporation cools the air down, and it blows all through the house. It works very well in dry climates (like Canberra) but really doesn't work at all where there's higher humidity.

David: about $6000. Stu did the organising so no idea if that's a good price or not.
