This was one of my Christmas presents.  I built it yesterday afternoon.

For something that is supposed to be based on 1980s Space Lego, there's very little actual original space lego pieces.  Here's pretty much all there is:

Every time I get a new Lego set, there's always some new piece I've never seen before.  In this set it included little spring loaded laser firing bricks, elbow plates and circular plates with a hole.
