Sorry JC and Bren :(
When I first started blogging in early 2003, I went looking for other bloggers to read. Just about the first one I found was JC (his blog was called Harry Volts at the time). I've been reading his blog ever since (altho it's gone quiet of late) and his (now) wife Bren's as well. So I read all about their cats, their wedding, their house and all the renovations and work they put into it, and their babies. As you would over eight years.
Last Friday their house burnt down.
They lost their cats, but thankfully not their babies. All that work they did on the house.. all gone.. epic sadness...
Sorry to hear this awful news, but glad they are safe!
December 18, 2010 11:11 AMI would be more upset about the cats than the stuff. Very sad about all the work they put into their home vanishing though...I hope they were insured.
What a cool thing to be able to read along about someone else's life.
P.S. any chance of getting an indicator mandatory mark alongside the reqd email field :P
