So we had a bunch of spinach we had to use up, and some ancient frozen pastry sheets in the freezer.  So last weekend we got some ricotta.  

Today I mixed up the spinach and the ricotta and stuck it all in the pastry sheets.

I've never made pasties before, and by the time the pastry sheets were defrosted enough to separate they were too raw and doughy.  So it had potential to be a big disaster.  But in the end some turned out and only some were too sticky to work with... and they turned out really well :)

Other than that our Sunday consisted of doing not much, and a nice walk around the neighbourhood.

Two years ago today we explored some more of Berlin, looked at the Reconciliation Church on Bernauer Strasser, visited Potsdamer Platz, the Brandenburg Gate again and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe
