So I got an email the other week from my old penfriend from Finland. We hadn't mailed in ten years, so it was lucky my cia address still worked :) We first started mailing each other in 1988. Every few weeks to begin with, then every few months, then about once a year until around 1995, with a few emails after that. Me being the terrible penfriend that I am, things just went quiet after that.
So she and her partner are coming tonight! I found all her old letters this morning, and in a break from cleaning up the house, just read through them all. Very cool :)
