Stu got a veggie burger..
and I got a caesar salad...
The caesar salad wasn't bad, my only complaint was that the croutons were a little soggy. I like them to be really crisp. But there was a decent amount of bacon and cheese, so all good there. Stu's only complaint was lack of anchovies (they were listed on the menu but not delivered.. not that I'm complaining cause I hate the things ;) )
Stu thought the coffee was ok, but not fantastic.
It was very crowded, obviously lots of people wanting to try it out. But for the price, we won't be going there too often.

We just had dinner there, we ended up bringing food home!!! The mixed grill was stuff of legends and I'm sure they've got chickens the size of horses based on my parmigana. I'm pretty happy we got value for money dinner-wise.... :)

Yah I saw the pics of the mixed grill on the riot-act :)

Hey :)
I used to work at the Central QBN. The new Central is actually by the original owners of the QBN Central. They have just sold the old Central last year and are starting out in the area where they live.
Feel free to let them know what you thought could improve, as the whole point of the new place was they wanted to improve and progress. Phil and Vic (the owners) are both really friendly, so let them know if you have ny complaints- they're almost always in the kitchen and are happy to help. They are having trouble finding enough reliable and professional staff tho, so maybe that's why you've had probs.
I've worked for them for years and they always treat customers like part of a big family. Sorry, I think I'm a bit biased, but as an employee it was lovely to see the proffessionalism of these people.

Oh I wasn't complaining about them.. the staff were a little frazzled because it was so popular, but otherwise fine. And the food was pretty good, I was just commenting that it wasn't as cheap as the one in Queanbeyan, where for $15 you needed a doggy bag for all the food you got :)
