Colour Balance
While we were away, we were discussing at one point how very different the countryside is in Europe vs Australia. Stu said it must have been so hard for the early settlers to deal with the harsh Australian landscape, when they had been used to such lush countryside back in Europe. And I said I reckon they must have gotten off the boats thinking that the colour was just wrong. Australia doesn't do green. Compare my previous desktop to my current desktop to see what I mean...
Ah Neuschwanstein! A view doesn't get much better than that!
June 11, 2008 12:46 AMahh but Newcastle is a beautifuul green.., or at least MUCH MUCH greener than canebrra
June 11, 2008 8:43 AMI suggest the original photo does not have the correct colour balance. There is too much magenta for starters. If you could get the blue skies to match, the foreground would be a better comparison...
June 11, 2008 5:44 PMDave: yup!! ;)
June 11, 2008 10:58 PMFiona: yes, true :)
Gunzel: yeah I'll give you that (similar photos taken on the same day turned out a lot bluer).. but even with the sky matching, Australian bush is totally different.. just compare foreground to background foliage...
